Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig September. 21, 1983) is a famous American actress. Most notably, she played Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV series and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. Her parents had divorced and she relocated with her mother in Los Angeles. They were struggling to get by at the time she landed her first role in acting in Rachel's Room's lead character. In 2002 she was nominated for a Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004, as well as sharing the Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) with her. After leaving the show, Grace was keen to work more prominently in film having starred opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. The role she played was Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken the year 2008) on Suburban Girl and the Jane Austen Book Club. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) are her re-casts of characters. Grace returned to her role as Shannon in Lost, including the finale. In 2013, Grace appears in Californianation, the 6th Season. She portrays Faith as a female groupie and also a model for actors. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. She is part of the Gyllenhaal clan and the older sister of Jake Gyllenhaal. Her acting career started as a young teenager as she was cast in minor parts in a few films directed that her father directed. In addition, she was a part of her brother in the 2001 cult film Donnie Darko. The next film she appeared in was Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind both in 2002 and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal won critical praise in both of her roles as the main character of Secretary (2002) which is which is an erotic romantic drama and Sherrybaby (2006). She was also nominated by The Golden Globe Award. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008, following many highly successful movies, such as World Trade Center (2006), brought Gyllenhaal greater fame. Her performance in Crazy Heart as a mother with a single child was nominated in an Academy Award Best Supporting Actress. Then she played in comedies and dramas such as Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011, and Won't Back Down 2012 Her other roles include a Secret Service agent in the action thriller White House Down (2013) as well as a singer in the film Frank (2014) as well as the title role in the drama The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal began her career as a screenwriter, director and writer in the year 2021. she directed and wrote her psychological horror film The Lost Daughter. The film won Best Screenplay at the Venice International Film Festival, and was also nominated for the Academy Award.
