Rosalia
Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish meaning "Rosalia") is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. When she was a teenager, she has worked in both the traditional and popular music. But, her musical interests have expanded to encompass soul and hip-hop. Her voice has been described by no less talented than Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet and with a bite that is similar to older versions. After her 2017 debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit making it to the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and ultimately winning an Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami was her third full-length album. It included collaborations with fellow performers and producers like Cory Henry. This set was released March 2022 after a Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia did her solo performance in her first appearance ever on the program. Along with taking home three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first woman to win this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
